Executive Summary
Kormax Trade is a Ukrainian B2B distributor specializing in premium pet food and supplies for dogs and cats. With over 10 years in the pet industry, 2,000+ regular clients, and 1,500+ products in its assortment, Kormax Trade represents 10+ exclusive European brands in Ukraine, including Nature’s Protection. The company manages over 300 shipments daily, supplying owners with certified goods for their furry friends. Their philosophy centers on helping animals live long, active, and happy lives through trusted care products.
Evaluation of the problem
  • Our collaboration with Kormax Trade began after they had several unsuccessful attempts to implement other CRM systems. The company initially tried multiple platforms but faced critical limitations and insufficient integration capabilities. These issues made it difficult to manage a large volume of customer requests and monitor the progress of each order effectively.
  • Our Zoho experts conducted a detailed assessment of Kormax Trade’s operational processes to identify areas requiring automation or optimization.
  • The main priorities included:

    — Establishing transparent order tracking and distribution by status
    — Automating financial operations and invoice approval workflows
    — Integrating CRM with existing ERP and communication channels
    — Enabling advanced performance analytics for strategic planning

    Based on this evaluation, our team concluded that Zoho CRM, combined with complementary Zoho applications, would best address these needs and seamlessly integrate into the company’s existing workflows.
Proposed Solution
To resolve the company’s challenges, we implemented a tailored suite of Zoho applications aligned with Kormax Trade’s needs:
  • Zoho CRM – became the foundation of sales and customer management, offering an intuitive interface and Kanban view for tracking order distribution by status. Integration with 1C and ERP enabled seamless financial data exchange and real-time process visibility.
  • Zoho Desk – centralized all customer communications across social media channels, ensuring faster response times and improved service quality.
  • Zoho Creator – automated invoice creation and approval workflows, allowing managers to generate, submit, and track payment statuses without manual coordination.
  • Zoho Forms – simplified discount card management by collecting and processing customer information directly within the CRM.
  • Zoho SalesIQ – provided valuable website analytics, tracking visitor behavior, referral sources, and engagement metrics to support marketing and conversion optimization.
Implementation
The implementation of Zoho CRM took approximately 2-3 months, from requirements gathering and writing the technical specification to launching the system into operation. An additional month was spent on configuring and refactoring the 1C integration. After completing each stage, we held online meetings with the client to receive feedback on the usability of the configurations and the newly implemented functionality. The project was completed without any issues or delays. After the launch, we have continued to support the client and implement new solutions to enhance the system further.

  • Used Zoho SalesIQ to track website visitor activity: visits, traffic sources, and other key metrics
